Aksel Piran

Angel Investor, (tech) entrepreneur, syndicate leader.

Aksel Piran is a serial entrepreneur who graduated from the Telecom Institute and Dauphine University in Paris, France. During his studies, he launched in 1999 his first startup in online games, which he sold in 2004 when it had 4 million members in France. His journey in angel investing started in 2014 when he invested in a fledgling VR startup, VideoStitch, which he then shortly joined as COO and raised over $10M from notable VCs such as Alven Capital. Videostitch, with a team of 40 and offices in San Francisco, (with offices across the Levi’s Stadium!), and Paris, launched the world’s first livestreaming VR camera. After being hit by covid, he suspended his day job at Conscious Labs, the latest neurotech startup he had joined, again as a business angel and then COO and is now focusing more on developing the activities of a syndicate with an original positioning, real estate in smaller, “middle cities” and collecting non-funglible tokens (NFTs)
